It was believed that bees would thrive only in harmonious families, and they were supposed to be included in family happenings. They were considered to be models of domestic peace and harmony and were also highly industrious workers, attributes to which most households aspired.Referring this common,Devonshire charm displayed in museum of witchcraft of three bumble bees in a pouch and hung up out of the way in the best room in the house, they will bring health, happiness and sweet good fortune to this sun blessed spot. The most well known superstition connected to bees, was custom "telling the bees" was considered vitally important, whether it was good or bad news or simply everyday happenings. It was also said that bees had to be told of a death in the family or the bees would become bad and they would die too.
