Wortcunning is a term that refers to the knowledge (cunning) and use of the secret or hidden properties of herbs (or plants/worts). Herbs or Worts as used for healing and medicinal purposes can be traced all the way back to Egypt's Necropolis of Theban and the Eber Papyrus (one of the world's oldest surviving medical texts).
